There are times that I think:

Nothing interests me at all. I’m just going to lie here and think about how sad it is that nothing interests me…

I admit that this mindset may be considered toxic to some and pathetic to others. There are arguments to be made for both opinions, and I fully respect your right to have those opinions.

However, I contend that these bouts of pitiful, self-centered and disgustingly dramatic dalliances with doomsaying are healthy for me,

Because sometimes I need to lie down.

It is difficult to stand all day.
