A journey to find a passion

I have done a lot of development in my life and I always strived to learn more. I read books, articles watched Youtube videos and collaborated with people in order to learn more.

All this while I am listening to Techno “2 Unlimited — No Limit”

To give you a summary:

I have developed:

Calendars in Pascal, Forms in Visual Basic, Games in Assembly, GameMaker, Unreal Engine 3, Unity, XNA, Mobile applications in Objective C, Swift 3 for iOS and Java for Android in Eclipse, Web pages, E-commerce with PHP in Open cart, Presta shop, Wordpress, Pimcore and Joomla, and Web Applications with React, Node.js, Tapestry 5 and Tomcat.

On top of that I have invested some time in learning about UI / UX reading blog posts from Invision, guidelines of Apple, Google’s Material Design and the philosophy of Atomic design.

And Lets not forget about SEO and the Dark arts of marketing in Social Media.

My latest journey has been in Machine learning and Deep learning with python using pandas, matplotlib, numpy, scikit-learn and keras and it has been fascinating but I got to the point where I struggle to remember things as well as focusing.

Through all this learning I have obtain one Skill adapting to any situation and this happened because all my life I wanted to be a developer and build cool things that make people’s life easier, but because I had to support my self and my family I got lost into whatever each company was demanding me to build.

I did it because I didn’t learn to say no and because I wanted to use any opportunity I was given to prove my self and take a step forward.

And now I am in a difficult situation I had enough, so how do I focus in order to become an expert on the field, how do you declutter your mind from all these technologies and approaches, how do you find your passion and focus.
