7 Key Habits That Are Increasing Your Lifespan If Practiced Regular

Don’t underestimate the difference a simple routine can make

Most people underestimate how daily habits have a long-term effect on their health and progress in life. Everybody has their routines. Doing a morning run or walk to get some fresh air into your lungs and start your system for the day is a routine.

On the other hand, eating out at fast-food restaurants is also a habit. Going out every day on your balcony to smoke your morning cigarette is a routine. Getting drunk every weekend with your friends is a routine too.

While one cigarette and one burger won’t kill you, you can’t rely on “the dose makes the poison” when you do such things as smoking, eating lots of refined sugar, or drinking alcohol as regularly as every third day. That’s unhealthy. Period.

There are no good or bad habits.

There are only habits that downgrade the quality of your life and habits that have the ability to increase it.

If you sometimes want to smoke a cigarette with your friends when you’re out and it doesn’t become an addiction, that’s fine. You won’t get lung cancer the following day.

If you love McDonald’s food and eat there once a month while you maintain a healthy lifestyle apart from that, that’s totally fine too and your body will be able to deal with it.

Nobody’s perfect.

What you need to live a long, healthy, and fulfilled life are things you do daily or regularly that positively impact the quality of your life.

Here’s a list of things that have had a major impact on my overall and mental fitness, or which others did before that have reached old age and who stayed fit.

I repeat those routines daily and either practice them in the morning or throughout my day.
